A cup of coffee with Thomas

Today we considered the wisdom of Maggie Thatcher taking tea at no 10.
I thought that it was a brilliant ploy of Gordon's, radio 4 commentators have not been so convinced, but what do I know?
Thomas had his elevenses (the usual) did a little training & fell asleep for the remainder of the day, in his pram, in the garden.
I suspect that he feigns sleep at times to avoid further consideration about topical issues.
Northern Rock will have to wait until next week.

Anyone would be thrilled at the chance of a cup of tea with Maggie Thatcher, I should just hope she had time to tell Gordon what a complete and utter mess he is making and that he should go home to Scotland. It's been crisis, crisis every week since he took over; bet Tony's laughing his socks off. It'll soon be a case everyone eating cake, if there's no meat around.Remember Marie Antoinette - she lost her head over it. Have to go and source a pint of milk for the tea before we are all forced to drink it with lemon.

If you got banned from M&S their shares would take a nose dive, I'm surprised they don't send a chauffered limousine for you.jen

Perhaps they discussed his effect on the pension funds - a topic of interest to a woman of more mature years.
I have sent you a M&S package, aj, to keep the share price up & the PO busy.

Racist comments are so demeaning!
Devolution is a crap idea when applied in the simplistic way we do it - try thinking about the cause of the problem. G

This is all getting too political and heavy for me. I might tune into something lighter like 'Newsnight' instead.

I like sponge cake with cream filling.
Devolution is not going to happen, but there needs to be something done about the issue of Scottish MPs voting on English issues in Westminster.
