Spooky!

Trick or treating with the family and friends - ten children dressed as witches, wizards, ghosts and ghouls - tramping the local streets to visit  and claim sweets from any house decorated for the occasion - lighted pumpkin lamps through to complete camouflage with cobwebs and spiders.
The children had a whale of a time, bagging small bucket fulls of goodies, even a home made cup cake each from one committed householder.
We chatted with other groups doing the rounds, before retiring to the pub for a quick drink, then home for dinner.
Halloween is a big celebration in these parts due to the American families that lived locally - a lot of effort put in by a good proportion of locals.
I've spent the day quietly, entertaining myself with catching up on mail, chatting on the phone,  drinking coffee, shopping, ironing and watching TV - at least two at a time - don't think I can't multitask!
Time for bed - an even busier day tomorrow!
