Half term.

We had a lovely family day today - a walk around the reservoir in the sunshine - we walked, J & DK ran, then sat surrounded by ducks & geese, whilst we caught up.
We were home for lunch, followed by further building work to the cardboard bat house, whilst I went to the hairdressers.
The boys had a good scamp around the garden, venturing into the field to glean  a bucketful of potatoes.
The mud will wash off - boys & tubers!

We cooked a very special cottage pie  for dinner , which well deserved a nice bottle of wine.
Aj arrived in time to partake; we  then had a mini firework celebration to give J & DK  the opportunity to recognise Guy Fawkes night, strangely overlooked by the Danes!

The Bible discussion group took place, as planned, followed by tea & lemon cake & chat.

I have the dress & shoes ready for the weekend, only the manicure & packing to get done tomorrow.
