Contrast in 10 days!
g trudging across the footpath in c8" of snow this morning. We took a 2hour walk around the reservior and lanes before lunch.

Only 10 days ago on the Kerala backwaters. And about 30 degrees warmer!!

Only minus 12 there? What wimps! We had minus 18 overnight! Even the ever hardy B decided not to venture to work yesterday - opting instead to chop up an old child steel framed back carrier, and attach some plywood to make a sledge which is the envy of the neighbourhood, and the subject of a bitter ownership war between T and KP. T amazed us all with daredevil sledging down hills with the big boys E
I´m looking forward to retirement. Looks and sounds great. Hopefully I will be rich enough to have somebody doing the snow shoveling when I retire - or maybe even better live somewhere where removing snow from the pavement isn't required. MK
B doesn't do more than one day off work! He was very intrepid and set off with ALL the remaining biscuits in the house (yes we actually had some) in case of an emergency, and all was fine once he got onto the main roads. E

E - good old Ben, perhaps he can make another sledge today.
