Fine Arts.

Like W, we don't drive a Jag, either - a Seat saloon (based on an Audi something or another)
at the moment, whilst the volvo is repaired.
I don't know why attention is drawn to the seats as they are horrible - I had a stiff back by the time we reached Coleshill!

Whilst G exchanged cars I vacuumed downstairs, like a whirling dervish, as G hates the noise & usually switches it off when he comes in.
After a shower & brush up, we went to The Antiques & Fine arts fair at the NEC - ticket courtesy of J & C & free car park - brill!

There were some beautiful things - very expensive, but we weren't there to buy.
G did get one art dealer excited by calling me over to discuss the trees in a painting - didn't like the rest of it, even with the discount offered.
Home mid-afternoon for a bowl of minestrone - Waitrose soups are scrummy!
G got on with paperwork & then cooked dinner whilst I ironed, napped & prepared paperwork for the church fundraising meeting at Jan's this evening.
Meeting was very productive, a number of events planned for the year, including the Jubilee event, proposed by the Bishop.

We've watched BBC2 as the broadband signal was  too weak - great programme on Putin.
He seemed to be a good guy in the early days - a bit like Blair, too powerful, eventually & too greedy.
I hope the KGB don't hack this & send me to Siberia - too cold!
