Flock + 1

A busy day - church followed by a meeting with Jan & Keith to finalise details for the Blyth Hall Soiree.
Home for a cup of coffee & the odd digestive biscuit, then back to church, Lea Marston this time, to baptise young Oliver Stephen Matthew Smith, great grandson of Les, in the village
A dear little boy, about 18 months old, who spent much of the service lying on his tummy somewhere near my feet.
Home to prepare dinner, with P, A & family - toad in the hole, Eton mess & chocolate cake.
Thomas & Jessie are staying for a couple of days, both sleeping peacefully after a little "Miffy" & chocolate.
Adventures planned - Safari Park and/or Marsh Gibbon.
Time for bed, I think. It may be an early morning.....

How meetings does it take to arrange a wine and cheese evening?

I bet they're fascinating
"what are we having?"
"Wine and cheese"
"What do we need to get?"
"Some wine and some cheese"
"Hmm, interesting, should we go to a wine shop and a cheese shop then?"
And so it continues...

T - T & J are very well trained - they sleep in!
If jessie wakes first, she reads a book until T wakes up - 8.30am today - I'd been downstairs for nearly an hour.
We had a great day, amassing 5 of the grandchildren - all of the "Noble issue" for the afternoon.

W. Have you thought of writing a satirical sit com?
The mtg was largely about the other irons in the fire - I merely reported back on the current state of the wine & cheese sourced.
There are issues such as crockery, cutlery, tickets, raffle prizes, transport...........

Before or after, TVs permitting We had "Dora the explorer"tonight!
