Just had a great day - church at Shustoke followed by driving to Newton Percy, near Wellesborne, with friends, where we went for a nice walk to the pub in Ashorne for lunch in the Village Tavern - very good.
We walked back across the fields to have tea with the congregation at St Georges church and then Evening Prayer - an inspiring service taken by the vicar.
Yesterday I took the family to BHX to fly home then went on to Solihull for coffee and a little retail therapy and to avoid the empty house.
It was lovely to have the family here - a tree house promised before their next visit.
