We have just returned from The Wheel at Ticknall, where we have enjoyed an excellent meal with Judith, Peter & friends to celebrate their 43rd wedding anniversary.
J & P are coming here to dinner on Monday, along with the Wheelers, which seems to be an interesting combination.
I did spend the day polishing the silver & the surfaces to put it back again. The results are pleasing, even in poor light, so the time & aching shoulder are worth it.
G is still suffering & popping painkillers every couple of hours.
Does anyone know any other cures?
Question Time is on with some really obnoxious people, Diane Abbot certainly wins top place .
Time for bed.
