Some November colour.

Pyrocantha, a mass of berries awaiting the blackbirds - a little past their best now.

Maple in the corner of the field opposite the kitchen.

Pyrocantha under the dining room window.

Never say passion is over - still flowering in November.
G took these this morning .
This evening it has rained hard & the roads are covered with leaves - we have been to friends in Dorridge for dinner (Jamie Oliver recipes - excellent)

I am cooking Jamie recipes today too - Asian Squash Salad (I am using pumpkin) with Crispy Duck. His recipes never disappoint.
What is the green thing round the back behind the bin?
Great photos

That is G's car towing trailer.
I cooked oxtail this afternoon. It was better than last time, but still not what I am hoping for.

Yes.
Do you want to buy the trailer - Brian James with a fitted marquee, made by the chap who provided the marquee for P&A's wedding.
The Sylva racing car comes with it, 1000 cc Honda engine - too loud last time out & no time to sort it since.
Previous racer - MG, needing attention, also for sale, along with the shed.
I'd give up on the ox tail - life is just too short!(a little near the back passage as well)
We had fillet steak (M&S reduced to £5) 2in thick & pan fried to perfection in a mere 7min!
The Aussie Cabernet Sauvignon was almost perfect - I have just woken up!
Diet tomorrow, ready for the medicals in 4 weeks.
