England 1 Wales 1

Blimey, it looked like a Welsh win for a while there I'm listening, not watching, from the conservatory.
Anyway, back to real life:

Happy Birthday Thomas - even more handsome at 9!

We've had a couple of days in Herefordshire, staying  at "The Inn in Bromyard" overnight - lovely 15th century listed building, shame about the French Bistro decor and the "chef"!
We were up early to visit Brightwell's sale, always good fun.
These are some of my buys:

My first ever Clarice Cliff.
Two pieces and a Whitefriars vase, listed with a vintage motoring folder.
I was outbid but did a brilliant deal with the successful buyer, who wanted the car folder.

An unused Sirram picnic hamper, Dad would have loved.

A couple of vintage cases full of old lace....., and a tin trunk.

A doll's cradle, Triang high chair and a Triang doll's fitted wardrobe, with clothes, which I had thought was a bathroom cabinet until I saw the plaque, after buying.
A Tissot watch and an old, gold mounted cameo plus a box of cut glass, bought in error.
Anyone want a trifle bowl?
Delighted with everything, ready to start listing on e bay - beavon09 if you want to view.

Dawn had done the hanging baskets and mangers when we got home.
They look amazing:

The sweet peas are flowering, so a vase of them on the table, smelling wonderful.

The strawberries are striving.

as are the herbs in the pump trough.

Last year's geranium in full bloom.
